Keepfold collects nothing about you. That is not a phrase, it is a description of how the app is built: it has no server code, no account with us, no sign-in and no network code of its own. The only thing that can leave your device is what you choose to sync to your own iCloud.
The cards you create are saved in a file on your own device, in the app's protected storage. We cannot see them, restore them or delete them for you, for the simple reason that we never have them.
If you turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings, your cards are also stored in your own iCloud, in the private database Apple keeps for your Apple Account. That is Apple's service under Apple's terms; there is no server of ours in the chain. The card itself is stored as an encrypted field, with keys that only your own devices hold — neither we nor Apple can read it. Sync exists so the same cards appear on your iPhone and your iPad — nothing else.
If you choose to show a card in a widget, that card is written to a shared area on the same device so the widget can read it. It still never leaves the phone.
But iOS does not require the phone to be unlocked to show widgets. What you let into a widget can be read by anyone who can see your screen. That is why the choice is off by default and made per card. We do not promise to hide it, because we could not keep that promise.
A card can be locked. The app then shows dots instead of the value until you confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode, and the card can never appear in a widget. The app never sees your face or fingerprint — it asks iOS whether it is you, and gets yes or no.
Be honest with yourself about what the lock is: a shield against a glance, not a safe. The value is stored like every other card, protected by iOS data protection — not by encryption of our own.
The app has no encryption of its own and no master password. It is built for things that are impractical to remember, not for things that are dangerous to lose. Use Apple Passwords or a real password manager for passwords, banking details and codes that protect money.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.
If anything changes in how the app handles data, this page is updated the same day and the change is described in the app's release notes.

Keepfold samlar inte in någonting om dig. Det är inte en formulering, det är en beskrivning av hur appen är byggd: den har ingen serverkod, inget konto hos oss, ingen inloggning och ingen egen nätverkskod. Det enda som kan lämna enheten är det du själv väljer att synka till din egen iCloud.
Korten du skapar sparas i en fil på din egen enhet, i appens skyddade utrymme. Vi kan inte se dem, återställa dem eller radera dem åt dig, av det enkla skälet att vi aldrig har dem.
Slår du på Synka med iCloud i inställningarna sparas dina kort även i din egen iCloud, i den privata databas som Apple håller åt ditt Apple-konto. Det är Apples tjänst och Apples villkor; vi har ingen server i kedjan. Själva kortet lagras som ett krypterat fält, med nycklar som bara dina egna enheter har — varken vi eller Apple kan läsa det. Synken finns för att samma kort ska synas på din iPhone och din iPad — inte för något annat.
Tre saker att veta:
Väljer du att visa ett kort i widgeten skrivs just det kortet till ett delat utrymme på samma enhet, så att widgeten kan läsa det. Det lämnar fortfarande aldrig telefonen.
Men iOS kräver ingen upplåsning för att visa widgetar. Det du släpper fram till widgeten kan läsas av alla som ser din skärm. Därför är valet avstängt som standard och görs per kort. Vi lovar inte att dölja innehållet, för det kan vi inte hålla.
Ett kort kan låsas. Då visar appen prickar i stället för värdet tills du bekräftar med Face ID, Touch ID eller enhetens kod, och kortet kan inte visas i någon widget. Appen ser aldrig ditt ansikte eller fingeravtryck — den frågar iOS om det är du, och får ja eller nej.
Var ärlig mot dig själv om vad låset är: ett skydd mot en blick, inte ett kassaskåp. Värdet lagras på samma sätt som alla andra kort, skyddat av iOS dataskydd — inte av någon egen kryptering.
Appen har ingen egen kryptering och inget huvudlösenord. Den är byggd för sådant som är opraktiskt att komma ihåg, inte för sådant som är farligt att förlora. Använd Apples Lösenord eller en riktig lösenordshanterare till lösenord, bankuppgifter och koder som skyddar pengar.
Appen riktar sig inte särskilt till barn och samlar inte in några uppgifter från någon, oavsett ålder.
Ändras något i hur appen hanterar data uppdateras den här sidan samma dag och datumet högst upp ändras.
