In one sentence

Keepfold is an iPhone and iPad app for the details you only need for a few days — the hotel room, the booking reference, the door code, the Wi-Fi at the cabin — kept exactly as typed, shown in a widget if you allow it, and tidied away on the day you choose.

The idea

Every trip ends with a Notes file called “misc” full of dead room numbers. Keepfold has cards that know when they're done: you say keep until Sunday, and when Sunday is over the card moves itself to a recoverable archive. Nothing is deleted. Nothing piles up.

What makes it different

Cards that tidy themselves away. Give a card a last day. It archives itself afterwards, and one tap brings it back.
Exactly as typed. Leading zeros, spaces, capitals — never autocorrected. A Wi-Fi password that gets “helped” is a wrong password.
Widgets show only what you allow. Home Screen widgets in one or two columns, plus a Lock Screen widget. A card is on the glass only because you put it there.
Locked with Face ID. A locked card shows dots until it is you, and can never appear in a widget. Search skips locked values.
Your iCloud, encrypted. Sync stores each card as an encrypted field in your own iCloud. The developer cannot read it, and neither can Apple.
Nothing to sign up for. No account, no analytics, no ads, no third-party code. Works fully offline.
